Three CD set recorded live at the Bayou Club in Washington, DC, January 1959. Two authentic geniuses of their respective instruments, Coleman Hawkins and Roy Eldridge complemented each other perfectly and loved to play together. The Bayou performances were privately taped in 1958 during a one-night engagement in Washington. As was usual with these one-nighters, only the main stars were called, and the rhythm section was completed with local musicians.
