Benny Golson

2009 release contains the widely-celebrated album Blues-ette in its entirety. Featuring Fuller joined by such stars as Benny Golson and Tommy Flanagan. All existing alternate takes from the session have been included. As a bonus, we have added all three Curtis Fuller compositions from the 1957 album Jazz It's Magic, which features Flanagan again on piano.

2009 reissue containing the complete original album Moanin', which is widely regarded as one of the finest albums in the history of Blakey's Jazz Messengers. It was the first LP by the third formation of the group, featuring Lee Morgan, Benny Golson (composer of most of the songs) and Bobby Timmons.

This release includes an outstanding session by Farmer with the well known Super Jazz Trio of Tommy Flanagan with Reggie Workman and Joe Chambers. As a bonus, two more tracks by Farmer from session with the Jazztet, OF which “From Dream To Dream” was also recorded in quartet format, two 1976 Farmer-Flanagan collaborations in quintet format with Jim Hall.
